The Nursing school of the Beneficência Portuguesa Hospital of São Paulo is one of the most respected institutions dedicated to the training and practice of nursing in Brazil.
Founded and authorized by MEC in 1959, the same year when the Ermírio de Moraes family started to direct the hospital, the school has gratuitously trained 3.246 professionals, where 2.708 are Nursing Assistants and 538 are Nursing Technicians.
The courses offered by the institution have the duration of two years and are gratuitous. In order to participate, you have to take part in the school’s selective process. Four new groups with about 40 students each are trained annually.
In over 50 years of operating in Brazil, the São Joaquim Nursing School has significantly contributed to the development of society, bringing knowledge and training to approximately 160 people each year, and at the same time, helping to improve the country’s medical area, by training professionals that work with the intent of providing health care to all types of patients with excellence and respect.
